Some things aren't true until you say them...

12.05.2002 - 1:34 p.m.

It snowed last night.

I need to reseal my boots.

I was standing in a big slushy puddle next to my car--that's how I know. Seepage.

If you had asked me what I thought of Tony the first time I met him, I would have said, "a little goofy, but he seems nice."

Five months ago it would have been, "Interesting. And he can make origami planes."

Three months ago, it was "Maybe if things were different."

Last week it was "a great night," and this morning, standing in the puddle while I scraped snow and ice off the windshield, I was very carefully not thinking.

Seepage worries me.

I want to reseal my boots.
