The secret to writing, as I have known for lo these many years, is a bag of Skittles. Not open at the seams, splayed across the desk for optimal color-sorting, but with only one tiny corner ripped off, so that it dispenses candy one tiny piece at a time. You get one every time you finish a paragraph; fifty paragraphs is usually enough to get you through whatever needs writing.

It should work with M&Ms, too, only I forgot to open the package the right way.
