So last night I had this absolutely magnificent idea for a story. I actually started writing it. It was going well. I was thinking, yes, it'd be even cooler if I tweaked this just a little bit, and maybe made this character female, instead...

Then it occurred to me, wait a minute. I've read this story before.

Sigh.
