Some things aren't true until you say them...

09.09.2002 - 11:29 a.m.

There is always the sitting behind old, married strangers who decide to renew their vows the next year.

There is always the strangers in front of them, divorced, and the not knowing what they must feel.

There is always the fourteen trips to fetch things, to rearrange cars, to ferry the presents.

There is always that one skinny guy who dances like an epileptic seizure.

There is always that weird moment of how do you say what everyone else has said, with words no one else has used yet?

And the bride is always so fucking beautiful.

There must have been normal details, too. There must have been everyday moments not pulled out of stereotype or tradition. What is it about weddings that tucks them all away, so you can't get a solid grip on anything?
