Some things aren't true until you say them...

Was stuck in traffic yesterday behind a BMW with vanity plates: MRNIC GI.

Now, when you see those letters, how many of you first thought it meant "moronic GI?" How about "moronic guy?" "Mr. Nick Gi?"

Even knowing that no one in the world would want vanity plates that proclaimed their own stupidity, it took me most of a light to figure out he was probably going for "Mr. Nice Guy."

If I was going to waste $75 on vanity plates, I would pick a phrase without a double meaning. Or I would put the space after the R. That might have helped.
