(Ten minutes before start of party)

Adam: Hey Mom, I should warn you that there's gonna be a few more people at the party tonight.

Mom: Oh? How many?

Adam: Like fifteen or twenty more.

Mom: Oh my. And how did this happen?

Adam: Probably because people keep telling me they're coming, and I keep saying, "Okay." Or at least, that's how I'd guess it happened.
