I think part of being a girl is having this bizarre sense of competition with the game console. It becomes way too important to prove that you can make your guy pay attention to YOU, instead.

Conversely, I think part of being a guy is becoming obsessed with the games for hours on end, which carries the side benefit of provoking your girlfriend to make out with you.

And you thought it was the girls who had all the secret power.
