I just made my thumbnail bleed by chewing too much of it off.

Right where it hits the spacebar, too. But today is a good day, anyway...I worked on a bunch of things that have been on the wrong end of the to-do pile for a long time, now. The kinds of things that start rotting on the back burner until the smell of them begins driving you crazy, even as you continue to ignore them.

I stopped ignoring them this morning. Some of them were really, really hard to get started on...but then some of them were even easier to take care of than I'd dared hope.

Someday this week I will be nearly honest again. It will feel so, so good.
